Cary Nord has been drawing comics professionally since he was 19 years old. He has worked with virtually every major publisher, with credits on books such as DAREDEVIL, MUTANT X, XO MANOWAR, WONDERWOMAN, and most notably his 2004 Eisner Award-winning work on CONAN (Darkhorse).
Nord started his career by submitting a letter and original artwork to Marvel Comics Presents and earned a professional gig with a Shang Chi comic. From there, he became the regular artist in Marvel’s Daredevil series. He was notably the opening artist for the new Conan the Barbarian series at Dark Horse, written by Kurt Busiek.
Cary is currently working on a 46-page SAVAGE SWORD of CONAN story as well as the second book in his first creator-owned series, FOL’KLOR.
