We would like to inform you that a bag ban will apply at Comic Con Stockholm Summer + Made in Asia on May 3-5 at Kistamässan. We also want to be clear that this is not a decision we as organizers of Comic Con have made, but the decision to ban bags at major events in Sweden is a decision made by the Swedish Police Agency based on the increased terror threat level.

We understand that this may be inconvenient and inconvenient for you as visitors and are fully aware that many of you wish to carry bags with your cosplay costumes, personal belongings and the like, but we ask that you please follow these Police Authority guidelines for to ensure a safe and secure experience for all visitors.

THE BAG BAN INCLUDES
– The bag ban applies to all types of bags, no exceptions will be made depending on the size of the bag.
– The ban also includes all types of bags.
– The ban also applies if you have a bag belonging to a cosplay
– Wallets and smaller toiletry bags that fit in the pocket are not covered by the bag ban.

EXCEPTIONS
On the Police Authority’s website, you can read that certain exceptions to the bag ban apply, and these exceptions also apply at Comic Con on May 3-5:
– Exceptions can be made for people with children who need a diaper bag.
– Exceptions can also be made for people who need a bag due to medical reasons.
– Exceptions will be made for people who in some way work/collaborate with Comic Con, such as cosplay contestants, exhibitors, speakers, guests, journalists, etc.

We also want to draw your attention to the fact that the wardrobe cannot be used for bags you bring from outside, as the wardrobe is inside Kistamässan. The wardrobe can therefore be used for your jackets and things you bought at the event. Also keep in mind that you may not leave the building with a bag or bag you received at the event and then re-enter with it. If you want to go out and in, we recommend you hang into the gardebob.
