Author Ingrid Tosteberg signs her books.

“I think it’s important that there are fantasy books that draw children into the magical world of reading-land. That’s why I write children’s books. I write fantasy because I love the magic of these fantastic worlds, and best of all – anything can happen .
Books that have inspired my writing are The Lord of the Rings, the Narnia books, Mio min Mio and Harry Potter.
Most of the time I make things up as I write. Sometimes I have a plan for the book, but then one of my characters breaks the plan and goes on their own adventures. It’s very exciting to write this way because I don’t know what’s going to happen or how the book is going to end.”
