There is something here for everyone: participate in question panels, workshops or competitions. participate in our cosplay parade

Welcome to our beloved cosplay parade in collaboration with Swedish Garrison. The parade will pass through the hall twice a day. Whether you are an experienced cosplayer or completely new to the field, this is your chance to show off your amazing cosplay!

The parade is usually one of the highlights of Comic Con Stockholm and is a festive and inclusive event where creativity and passion are at the center. We encourage everyone in cosplay to participate!

heroes walk on

Heroes Walk On is a cosplay show where anyone can participate and show off their cosplay to the audience! Since this is not a competition, it is great to have self-created characters, purchased cosplays and your own versions of existing characters. It is also fine to go together in a group or to go on stage individually.

We gather 60 minutes before the show at the stage. There you will get a briefing on how the show will go, tell us which character and from which work you are cosplaying and you will be given your number in the order of succession. You register on site by coming to the gathering at the Heroes Stage at 16:30.

Cosplay is not consent

No one has the right to touch you, hug you or photograph you without your permission. If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, tell a volunteer.

Ask first!

Together we create a positive and respectful atmosphere where everyone can enjoy their passion for cosplay without fear or discomfort.

Can I take photos of those who cosplay?

Most are happy to be in the picture, but ask before and be respectful!

Do you have to compete to cosplay?

Not at all! We encourage our visitors to cosplay, with or without the competition.

What rules apply to weapons, replicas and props?

Your weapon must be allowed according to the Swedish Arms Act, and the law on knives and other objects.
If your weapon doesn’t resemble anything that could be dangerous to others (for example, a papier mache replica), you don’t have to worry about breaking any of our rules. Items intended as toys for children up to 14 years of age (eg a one-ton plastic water gun) are approved. Items that cannot be mistaken for a real weapon (eg a lightsaber from Star Wars or a phaser from Star Trek) are also accepted in the exhibition hall.
Weapon replicas, for example airsoft, are approved if they have a safety plug in the muzzle tube and are otherwise obviously harmless.
Replicas of eg knives, swords, axes are okay (these weapons must not be sharp).
It is forbidden to use nails, sharp edges or the like if these can injure people.
It is forbidden to have a drawn sword/knife replica in the exhibition hall. During cosplay photoshoots or on stage, it is permitted to pose with a weapon that is permitted according to Swedish law but which should not be drawn in the exhibition hall.
Comic Con guards and organizers reserve the right to check at any time that your carried weapon does not violate the rules.

Is there a dressing room?

Yes, there is a dedicated cosplay room where you can change. There will be high pressure in this room and we recommend that you change as much as possible.
