activities from previous event
droid hunt
At the Swedish Garrison booth, visitors can be given a droid badge to carry with them during the fair. Our troopers will in turn search for these droids to reclaim Imperial property. Do you have the droids we are looking for? If so, you could be rewarded.
Swedish Falcon and X1
This year, The Swedish Falcon and X1 have joined forces in true Star Wars spirit and are now known as *Falcon X1 Force*. The Swedish Falcon, built by Esma and Thomas, is a full-size replica of the Millennium Falcon from the movie “Solo: A Star Wars Story”. In the ship, you can take control of the controls and experience the magic of being Han Solo. The ship premiered at Comic Con 2021 and has since traveled around Europe and the USA.
Also discover the interactive X1 X-Wing, which accompanies the Falcon. Here you can climb into the cockpit and steer your way through the universe, avoiding obstacles and shooting down enemy ships on the screen in front of you.
May the Force be with you!
Blast a trooper
The Galactic Empire only recruits the absolute best: Show off your marksmanship in our booth by shooting at various targets. Can you hit all the targets?
bounty hunt
The Imperial Intelligence Agency is recruiting new bounty hunters through our web application. Visitors are assigned nine targets in the form of Swedish Garrison’s various troopers at the fair. The visitor who finds and identifies all the targets can revisit our booth and receive their reward.
cosplayparade
Swedish Garrison leads the fair’s big cosplay parade twice a day. Times will come later. Take the opportunity to show off by joining this highlight of Comic Con.
photo sessions
Every hour you will meet different characters in our photo booths, ready to create fun photo memories with you.
officer tickets
Our law-abiding officers patrol the exhibition floor. If visitors are caught breaking the laws of the Empire, they may be issued a fine. Don’t worry: Visit the Swedish Garrison booth with your fine, and we can surely find a mission to atone for your crimes!
practice patrols with stormtroopers
Go behind the scenes and see how the Imperial stormtroopers train. What is the secret to their discipline and accuracy? Take a look and find out!
Exhibitions
In addition to the droids and members moving around the fair, you can take part in R2-builders and Swedish Garrison’s exhibition of droids and costumes as well as other props. During the fair, members will be on hand to give an up-close look at a galaxy far, far away and answer questions.
bad guys doing good
Swedish Garrison is part of the 501st Legion, a costume group for people all over the world who enjoy recreating costumes and props from Star Wars, and especially “The Bad Guys.” We are united by a passion for cosplay, but also by a desire to be able to change the world for the better.

In addition to spreading joy at fairs and children’s hospitals, we raise money for charity, which is the very heart of our organization and why we do what we do. Every year, the 501st Legion donates millions of dollars to everything from hospitals and women’s shelters to charities around the world.
In Sweden, our primary partners are the Swedish Children’s Cancer Foundation and Queen Silvia’s Children’s Hospital. We are visiting Comic Con together with our fantastic sister clubs Gaht Cabur Clan (Mandalorian Mercs), R2 Builders Sweden, Nordic Base (Rebel Legion) and Nordic Reel Icons.
Supporters
Become a supporter
We would like to take this opportunity to highlight the people who make our charity work possible: our amazing supporters. Supporters help with everything from tightening Vader’s boots and making sure everything fits properly on Boba Fett to leading us up and down stairs (a helmeted trooper’s worst enemy!). You’ll meet them when you take a picture with us, when they answer your questions about the association, and when they make sure the costume parade runs smoothly – unless you run into them while they’re fetching water for a parched Jawa (or ink for an equally parched photo printer). In short, there’s no problem that our supporters can’t solve with flying colors! Becoming a supporter is a great first step into our association, and all you need is a smile and a nice attitude. So for those of you who want to become a member but don’t have a costume yet – a warm welcome as a supporter! Together we are strong, and together we can make a big difference!
How to become a supporter:
- Start by talking to one of our members on site at the fair. Tell them you want to become a supporter, and the member will tell you a little more.
- Then create an account on our forum, and ask for supporter access there. The member you spoke to needs to vouch for you on the forum, so write who you spoke to, so that they can confirm that you spoke.
- After that, you will have access to our events, and decide for yourself when and where you can participate and help. We hope to see you at the next event!
Do you want to book Swedish Garrison?
If you would like to book us for an event, please do not hesitate to contact us through the contact form on our website. We visit trade shows such as Comic Con, children’s parties, hospitals and other events where we can spread joy.

this is swedish garrison and r2 builders
Swedish Garrison is part of the 501st Legion, a costume group for people all over the world who enjoy recreating costumes and props from Star Wars and “The Bad guys”. They work within Sweden with troopers spread from Malmö to Piteå who protect our loyal imperial citizens from the activities of the rebels.
Their main business is making costumes and other accessories, and they have earned the nickname “Bad guys doing good” through their charity work. They participate in fairs and events with their costumes and props, visit children’s hospitals and collect money. Each year, the 501st Legion donates millions of dollars to charitable organizations around the world.
R2 Builders Sweden is a community of individual droid builders with a passion for Star Wars and Astromechs in particular.
They are not a formal club, but follow the rules and guidelines established by the R2 Builders Club.
Nordic Base
During the weekend, Nordic Base will also be at Comic Con Stockholm. Nordic Base is part of the “Rebel Legion” which is a Star Wars based costume fan club. Members create/obtain and wear costumes of the hero characters from the Star Wars saga (pilots, Jedi’s dignitaries, etc.) – so the good side, even if the Empire doesn’t agree. Nordic Base spreads the joy of Star Wars and together with the sister club Swedish Garrison (which is looking for rebels to capture) we show up where we are needed such as hospitals, children’s parties, fairs etc. for charity.
Mando Mercs : Gaht Cabur
Don’t miss meeting Mando Mercs: Gaht Cabur who will be on site at Comic Con Stockholm throughout the weekend. Gaht Cabur is part of the Mando Mercs Costume Club, an international Star Wars-based costume fan club founded in 2007 that focuses on Mandalorian culture in terms of costumes and characters. Together they spread the joy and fascination for Star Wars by participating in various events, such as hospital visits, children’s parties and fairs, with a particular focus on charity. The Swedish clan, Gaht Cabur, was founded in 2021. They are proud to be a charity that combines their love of Star Wars with creativity and costume making, to make a positive difference in the world.
