Nerdevents was founded in 2015 when two associations merged together, both from a non-profit association affiliated to Sverok – Spelhobbyförbundet.

The purpose of the associations is to arrange various activities with a “nerdy” theme, such as; nerd market, board game night, videogame corner, Swedish (but nerdy) fika where you discuss what your geek heart is passionate about, and if not that is your cup of tea, then bowling all dressed up may be right up your alley.

The organisation has its main operations in the Stockholm area, but a division is being developed in the western parts of Sweden, in Västergötland. (Gothenburg and its surroundings)
