Saku Friends

Cezar Borgkrans

With a passion for inviting communication of Japanese culture, language skills and aesthetics, Cezar Borgkrans is here to share from his trip to Japan earlier this year!

He represents Saku Friends, which works to highlight the hyper-cultural and preserved Japan side by side – a bridge between traditional crafts and modern popular culture. Enjoy a treasure trove of stories from Aizu-wakamatsu, Hokkaido, Okayama, Shizuoka, Mount Fuji and Nara, with more places he shares through workshops and visually enriched lectures.

With a background of active ongoing work in cultural mediation for museums, fairs, libraries and schools, he is always eager to teach, and to learn more with each meeting, or as it is called in Japanese: Ichi-go ichi-e “A meeting of a lifetime”.
