Go behind the scenes of Nostalgi till Salu, the documentary exploring Nordic trading card culture and a world where childhood nostalgia, community and passion meet a global billion-dollar industry. Director and producer Nikeisha Andersson brings two of the documentary’s featured personalities, Rare Holos and Melty, to the stage for a personal and entertaining conversation about the journey behind the film, trading card culture and the people they’ve met along the way.
The session kicks off with a fun Kahoot quiz where the audience can test their knowledge of trading cards, nostalgia and the culture surrounding them. This is followed by a conversation about why we collect, what nostalgia is really worth, and how a hobby many of us grew up with has evolved into a cultural and economic phenomenon. The session will also feature a box break!
