About us
Be who you are – become who you want to be!
We are a high school in central Stockholm that has been teaching various types of geeks and nerds for the past 20 years. Among other things, we teach video game graphics and programming, animation, illustration, product design and a lot of other creative courses. You can also study Japanese as an elective subject, and we have many student-led clubs where you can meet others who share your special interests.
Here at Comic Con, you will be introduced to three key parts of our school:
- Our technology programme has had a gamedev focus for the past 15 years, and former students now work at studios such as Star Stable, Dice and VOID Interactive (Ready or Not). Our newly started Cutting edge education programme allows us to raise the bar even further!
- At the arts programme you’ll learn to create animations, visual effects, draw cartoons, create characters, work in 3D and much more. We use the industry standard software, and you’ll be able to get certified and compete in the Adobe Championship. No previous skills required – we’ll start with the basics and get you to a professional level in no time!
- We offer Japanese as an elective course, as well as a student-led Japan club, and for the past 13 years we’ve collaborated with Japanese high schools and colleges. Not only will you learn the Japanese language, but you’ll also meet Japanese students and find friends for life. Every year students from several Japanese schools visit us, and some of our students go on school trips to Japan. These are unforgettable experiences and after high school many of our students move to Japan for work or studies.
