After studying at the International School of Comics in 2006, Elena Casagrande made her U.S. debut with IDW Publishing on titles such as Star Trek, Doctor Who, and The X-Files. She has worked for Marvel Comics (Red Hulk, Black Widow), Image Comics (Hack/Slash), BOOM! Studios, Titan Comics, and DC Comics on series such as Batgirl, Catwoman, and Wonder Woman.
The team behind Black Widow won an Eisner Award in 2021 for Best New Series. Elena Casagrande is also a Marvel Stormbreaker 2023 artist. She works on titles such as Blade, Runaways, and Laura Kinney: Wolverine, and she teaches at the Scuola Romana dei Fumetti.
