Gisela Oddsdotter began her career as a dancer at the Royal Swedish Opera before studying at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts and pursuing a career on stage. Today, she works as an actor. In autumn 2026, Gisela made her debut with the story Ride or Die.
“I come from the stage, from ballet at the Royal Swedish Opera, from theatre and film, and into writing. Different art forms with different approaches and forms of expression, yet all filling the same vessel. They are exercises in empathy, in understanding someone else. They expand the world. They teach us to look kindly at others and at ourselves. And to face what lies ahead of us all with fire in our eyes.”
