POPULAR ACTOR FROM LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY
Sean Astin is an American actor, director, voice artist and producer best known for his role as Samwise Gamgee in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

In 1994, Astin (along with his wife, Christine Astin) directed and co-produced the short film Kangaroo Court, which received an Oscar nomination for Best Live Action Short Film.
