Abeyance, the thrilling rogue-lite, sci-fi dungeon-crawler developed by Bumblebee Studios, an indie studio based in Stockholm, Sweden, has been nominated for a prestigious Houdini Award at the Game Development World Championship (GDWC).
The GDWC is a global open competition for game developers that aims to celebrate awesome games and the developers behind them. Its goal is to highlight new and rising talents and teams and work tirelessly to create new opportunities for success for its participants. Through its 10-year history, GDWC has had over 25,000 developers participate from 135 different countries and has given out over $500,000 worth of prizes and giveaways.
Abeyance has been nominated for a Houdini Award at GDWC for its innovative use of Houdini and procedural generation in creating an immersive and captivating gaming experience.

Abeyance takes players on a journey through forsaken space stations, where they must fight their way through hordes of aliens and robots, salvage abandoned items, and survive as long as possible. With its innovative use of Houdini and procedural generation, the game offers endless possibilities and challenges, keeping players engaged for hours.
Winners of the GDWC Awards will be announced on April 22nd.
